Pollen Allergy

I have a pollen allergy.
I had been expecting that I wouldn't have it in the United States.
Unfortunately, I have suffered from it since last Wednesday.
An allergen which causes an allergy would be "BUTAKUSA" in Japanese.
I don't know the English name.
I have brought some herbal medicine from Japan, but I heard I could buy medicine for an allergy without a prescription here. They are what a doctor prescribes in Japan.
I should go to a drug store because I cannot concentrate on anything.
Though I don't like overprescription!

Custard Pudding

I cooked some custard pudding tonight.
Because I wanted to eat it recently somehow.
It was great and very smooth touch.

Floors 3&4 dinner!

Last night, the floors third and fourth of our apartment had dinner together.
We went to a chinese restaurant by arranging carpools.
The restaurant was full of people and there was a long line too.
All of dishes were awesome!
I enjoyed talking with people from Singapore and Rumania.

Catch a Cold?

When I woke up in the morning, I didn't feel well.
I went to an English class by bike.
I felt heavier for riding my bike than usual.
Besides, I had a light stomachache in the evening.
Have I caught a cold?

Teacher

I have a problem with ESL(English as a Second Language) class.
We don't have chance to have conversation in English.
Our teacher reads a newspaper and we listen to that.
It is painful for me!
Then, I took another English class today.
The teacher was wonderful! She was very energetic.
Her way of teaching cheerd me up.
I already knew, but it made me realize it again.
Teacher has an important role.

Drawing

I joined a drawing class today.
An old man who was a voluntary worker taught us.
He said something like "Art is mistery about mistery."
I drew a nut on the paper.
I had not drawn for a long time!

BBQ

I had a BBQ party yesterday.
It was Japanese style.
We had rice ball, pickled cucumber and grated radish.
And I cooked fried chicken.
We barbecued rice balls and they were great!
And beef steaks, of course.
Good condition of charcoal makes great BBQ!

Lost Things

I had a calligraphy class today.
When I got on my car in the parking lot, I realized that I forgot my glasses.
I went back home to bring them.
After running few minites, I suddenly remembered that I'd left a paper for the class at home.
Then, I went back home again...
There was something wrong with me!

Reunion

It rained again!
I walked to an English class.
I was surprised that Japanese was only me.
It's very rare.
And the teacher was a woman who taught me in summer.
She was a substitute.
I was glad to meet her again since she was a good teacher.

Rain

We had rain today!
It was the first time since I came here!
And it was also cold today.

I went to Palo Alto Art Center.
Two men were making glass pumpkins in front of children.
I want to try blowing glass.

Evacuation Drill

Soon after starting dinner, noisy alarm sounded suddenly.
My husband and I couldn't understand what it meant.
When we looked outside from a balcony, many people were getting out from our apartment.
Then, we got out in a hurry.
We knew it was an evacuation drill.

Squid

I found squid finally.
It is not a small one, but a big whole one.
I boiled it with taro for dinner.
It was great!

Golf

I went to a driving range.
It was the third time for me.
The number of air shot has been decreasing!

I had Thai food for dinner.
Sour soup with milk, papaya salad and chrispy prawns were great!
